The ever popular Sea Ilfracombe Maritime Festival is back on the 30th & 31st August 2025 for its 16th year.
This free community festival continues to grow year after year, attracting local, national, and international visitors to enjoy the best local live music, food & drink and a host of family entertainment. Following the huge success of past festivals, 2025 promises to be the biggest yet with the main site at Ropery Road featuring two music stages, local food stalls, a beer tent, a Tiki bar and a local craft market.
Plus Pip & Jims Community Hall on St James Place will feature Captain Coconut, Mermaid Stories and crafting activities with the harbour sands playing host to Punch & Judy, sand castle competitions and of course the Pirates De Marisco who will be creating mischief and providing activities for all ages.

The Carnival Procession – An eclectic mix of floats and walking groups will keep you entertained for an evening. This spectacular event raises monies for local charities and is a fun night for all the family. From 5pm there will be music, stalls and food vendors on the Seafront.
Road closure is at 17.30 prompt with the parade starting at 6pm.
The Parade leaves Hillsborough (Swimming Pool) car park, travels along Hillsborough Road, Portland Street, High Street, Church Street, turns right at Wilder Road along the Seafront, down St James Place arriving on Broad Street where it dissembles.
The £2000 proceeds from 2024 street collection were donated equally to Ilfracombe Food Bank & Belles Place.
